Zurich Classic of New Orleans Round Two Foursomes Tee Times at TPC Louisiana
Check out all the second round tee times for the Friday foursomes at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans heads into Friday’s second round at TPC Louisiana, with the tournament finely poised after a low-scoring opening day in the fourballs format.
Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer set the early benchmark with a sensational 14-under-par 58, matching the tournament’s lowest-ever fourball round.
Hot on their heels at 13-under par are Davis Thompson and Austin Eckroat, who were one of our expert picks at odds of 25/1.
Sam Stevens and Zach Bauchou, and Eric Cole and Hank Lebioda are a further shot back on 12-under par.
Further down the leaderboard, in-form Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick lie eight-under par, defending champions Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin are seven-under par, and pre-tournament favourites Shane Lowry and Brooks Koepka are six-under par.
With the format now switching to foursomes (alternate shot) on Friday, expect a very different test.
Unlike fourballs, where players can attack aggressively knowing their partner can bail them out, alternate shot demands precision, chemistry, and smart course management.
Mistakes are far more costly, and historically, scoring tends to tighten significantly.
That means the leaderboard could see a major shake-up as teams battle not just the course, but the added pressure of sharing every shot.
