PXG roll out new driver, fairway wood, and hybrid
Low spin X Series promises extra yards
PXG has unveiled a new line of woods designed to offer low spin, called the X Series.
The line will complement the 0811 drivers, 03411 fairways, and 0317 hybrids.
PXG say it spins 600 to 800 rpm less than 0811, equating to 10 to 15 extra yards. The new thin carbon fiber crown is lighter than previous models, and it’s complemented with a honeycomb TPE insert, variable face and weighting system.
Shares tech with the driver; carbon fiber crown, TPE insert, thin face, moveable weights.
Spins 300 to 400 rpm less, 2 mph more ball speed. 11 extra yards on offer. Draw, fade, neutral options.
Spin 200 to 300 less, faster ball speeds and higher launch angle for seven extra yards. Made from carbon fiber, with TPE insert. Moveable weights are also implemented.
