Best Bluetooth Golf Speakers 2025

While traditional etiquette mandates that speakers should only be introduced on to the golf course in a sparing manner, in the right setting it can take an already fun, breezy round to new heights.

After all, whether you're playing a few tunes or tuning in to a sports event also happening at the same time as your round, there's no reason golf shouldn't have a soundtrack – so long as you're not disturbing the play of anyone around you.

And with more and more young players bringing a more casual, relaxed vibe to the game, music on golf courses is becoming a more common sight (and sound). As such, even the game's true legacy brands are getting involved, introducing golf-specific speakers designed to provide just the right amount of volume to soundtrack your round without disturbing other players along with an array of features that standard bluetooth speakers simply don't have.

But which ones stand, and project, above the rest? Here, the GolfMagic team rounds up its favourite bluetooth golf speakers you should be bringing along to your casual rounds for the 2025 season.

Mileseey GeneSonic Pro

RRP: $299

The GeneSonic Pro is Mileseey's first foray into the increasingly crowded world of golf-oriented speakers, with the key difference coming in its detachable handheld touchscreen GPS that provides instant yardages, scoring and and maps for 43,000 courses without the need for a subscription or a data plan. Easily removable, it comes with an included carabiner that allows it to seamlessly attach to your belt loop or golf bag

As a speaker, the Milessey is designed to stand up to the very best names in the audio business, with a 40W output and a dual-band crossover, silk-dome tweeter, racetrack woofer, dual passive radiators working together to deliver a rich, balanced sound stage. Mileseey have also engineered the software with three different modes to suit different settings: Golf Mode helps your music carry further, home mode provides more balanced sound, and Party mode cranks up the bass.

The battery life is also excellent. Capable of running for 15 hours at 50% volume, the GeneSonic's mammoth battery also allows it to double as a powerbank, with 30W fast charging via a USB-C cable.

At $299, there's no denying that the Mileseey represents a sizeable investment compared to other speakers on this list. Its two-in-one versatility, however, truly sets it apart and makes it, in our eyes at least, the most feature-packed golf speaker you can buy right now.

Turtlebox Ranger

Turtlebox Ranger

RRP: $250

Turtlebox's Ranger is the speaker of choice for Scottie Scheffler himself – and if it's good enough for him, well, it's probably good enough for you as well. It has a magnetic body that attaches easily to carts and cars, party mode allowing it to pair up with other Ranger speakers out on the course, and two woofers for explosive, balanced sound in open conditions.

How do battery life and charging options differ among various golf speaker models?

Most golf speakers now have large rechargeable batteries, enabling them to charge and function in much the same way as ordinary bluetooth speakers.

While battery life varies between different brands and models, most high-quality speakers have batteries that will last somewhere between 8 and 12 hours depending on their size and the features the speaker itself has.

Speakers that have screens or built-in GPS functionality will naturally drain faster due to the added charge required to power them, and smaller, more portable speakers – while often more efficient than bigger speakers – tend to have have smaller batteries and therefore slightly reduced battery lives.

Are there any specific rules or etiquette for using Bluetooth speakers during competitive play?

Bluetooth speakers are strictly prohibited from use in any official competitive events, meaning you'll have to stash it away should you wish to play competitive golf. In addition to providing a distraction for other players in the competition, Bluetooth speakers can potentially be used to gain a competitive advantage out on the course.

In keeping with the general spirit of golf etiquette, we recommend leaving your speaker in the bag or at home unless playing casual rounds when nothing is at stake. After all, serious rounds when playing for a competition or a handicap should be about the golf, not the soundtrack.
