PUMA's Showtime golf shoes pay homage to Sport's greatest stages
The German brand is dropping a brand new limited shoe, celebrating the U.S. Open as part of one sport's greatest ever summers.
It likely hasn't slipped your notice, but there's a fair bit of sport going on around the world right now.
We're now well in the thick of a World Cup, Tennis and Cycling seasons are in full swing, the F1 is bouncing its way around the world, and Golf, of course, is in the very peak of Major season.
Already, we've seen a few sporting crossover collections release as a result. adidas dropped Lionel Messi-inspired golf shoes earlier this week, in fact. And now, PUMA are the latest to celebrate the summer of sport with its new SHOWTIME Collection: a pack that spans not just golf, but running, football and basketball too.
Dressed in bright shades of neon pink, orange, blue and yellow, the pack is inspired by the boldest moments in PUMA’s rich history across sports, and has been drip fed over the last few months to co-incide with the biggest events in the sporting calendar.
The running shoes released to co-incide with major marathon season, the football boots dropped last month in preparation for the World Cup, and the basketball shoes released around the time of the NBA Playoffs. Now it's the turn of the golf shoes, a visually-striking take on the Ignite Elevate Tour 2 model, to hit the course at this weekend's U.S. Open.
