The last few years have seen a huge upswing in fresh, eager female golfers taking up golf, injecting a wave of new energy into the sport in the process.

It’s taken a little while for the major equipment manufacturers to catch up with the times, however. Most beginner women’s sets are designed with little real care given to either performance or aesthetics, and access to good equipment remains one of the biggest markers of inequality in our game.

Ever the disruptor, this is something Vice is out to rectify. And to do so, the brand has unveiled its first dedicated women’s beginner set, adding a key new area in its growing equipment offering.

Taking cues from the men’s beginner set of the same name, the Boost women’s set is engineered from the ground up to give women the best start possible whether they’re beginning the game for the first time, returning after a lengthy time away or just want a reliable set for knocking the ball around on casual rounds.

No expense has been spared on materials or finishing with the Boost set, and the 10-piece selection includes a titanium driver, cast stainless steel irons, and a sand-blasted nickel-chrome putter. Graphite shafts are engineered into the woods, irons and wedges to help generate effortless speed and launch.

The set also includes a stylish water-repellant carry bag, finished in a clean black and white colour scheme, with matching covers for the woods and putter adding an extra premium touch.

Priced at just £454.99, one of the most affordable premium women’s sets on the market, the Women’s Boost Set is available now through Vice Golf’s website.
