As immersive as the action of the Ryder Cup typically is, watching the weekend's action at home on the couch tends to leave you itching to get out on the course.

In lieu of a full 18 at your local, simulator leaders TopTracer are giving fans a fun new way to get involved at their local range instead, running a worldwide nearest to the pin contest using Bethpage Black's notorious Par 3 8th as the setting.

'Not every golf fan will have the privilege to attend the Ryder Cup in person this year, so we are honoured to bring one of the toughest tests in golf to them,' said Toptracer's Scott Blevins. The Americans and Europeans will put forth their best efforts to win the cup, so we hope golfers around the world will join in on the competition and experience Bethpage Black on the best range technology.'

Fans near a Toptracer range can arrive and enter the contest for free at any point from now until October the 5th, with the nearest to the pin winners worldwide taking home a selection of prizes – including a swag bag of golf related goodies worth more than $200.

'Creating experiences that bring golf fans closer to the players and the momentous spectacle that is the Ryder Cup is something we are very proud of,' continues Blevins. 'It will no doubt be the biggest week in golf for 2025 and Toptracer is privileged to provide numerous ways for everyone around the world to get involved.'

Fans on the ground in New York can also take part in an exclusive long drive contest at Toptracer’s “First Tee Experience” at the Rockefeller Center until September 28th.

If you're keen to get involved from afar, you can find your nearest Toptracer range here.
