TopTracer are ringing in Ryder Cup weekend with a worldwide Par 3 contest

As immersive as the action of the Ryder Cup typically is, watching the weekend's action at home on the couch tends to leave you itching to get out on the course.

In lieu of a full 18 at your local, simulator leaders TopTracer are giving fans a fun new way to get involved at their local range instead, running a worldwide nearest to the pin contest using Bethpage Black's notorious Par 3 8th as the setting.

'Not every golf fan will have the privilege to attend the Ryder Cup in person this year, so we are honoured to bring one of the toughest tests in golf to them,' said Toptracer's Scott Blevins. Fans near a Toptracer range can arrive and enter the contest for free at any point from now until October the 5th, with the nearest to the pin winners worldwide taking home a selection of prizes – including a swag bag of golf related goodies worth more than $200.
