Jack Nicklaus posts warm message after his wife is INDUCTED into hall of fame

The Nicklaus household just added another hall of famer to its ranks.

First it was Jack. Now it's his wife Barbara. She has been inducted into the Florida Women's Hall of Fame for her contributions to the citizens of Florida.

The Golden Bear shared the news on Twitter about wife Barbara, whom he has been married to for 61 years.

"I am deeply humbled and honored to be chosen to be inducted into the Florida Women's Hall of Fame," she said. "It is truly special to be included with such an esteemed group of women."

Jack Nicklaus, 81, posted: "I could not be prouder to say that today my wife Barbara is being inducted into the Florida Women's Hall of Fame. I'm amazed by all the great work she's done over her lifetime - and continues to do - for so many people, especially children."

The pair opened the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation in 2004 and have to this day reportedly raised more than $150 million to enhance access to health care for children in South Florida and elsewhere.

Throughout his career Nicklaus won 18 major championships.

Jack and Barbara, also 81, have five children and 22 grand-children. They have one great-grandchild.

"Barbara, you are and always have been the best, and I love you," Jack further posted.
