Golf trolleys are one of the best investments you can make in the sport. They make your walk around the golf course a pleasurable experience and they relieve a lot of physical exertion.

However, they can misbehave and you must always take care when walking the course with a trolley. Slopes and hills can be the nemesis of a golf trolley so you must always be careful.

Unfortunately for one golfer, his trolley tipped over the edge of a very steep slope and once the wheels got turning, there was absolutely nothing to stop it.

In a video posted by Marland Golf Club in Rochdale, a golfer is seen frantically chasing his golf trolley down a hill, but the trolley was rolling too fast for him to catch up.

As the player got nearer to his trolley, the bag smashed into a large tree on one of the holes. When the trolley settled on the floor, it certainly did not look in the best condition.

As the golfer sprinted down the hill to catch up with his escaping bag, his playing partners were enjoying the moment and laughing, probably in relief as it wasn't them running down a hill in a panicked state.

It is fair to say that this sort of video is always hysterical to watch. This sort of moment on the golf course can provide some relief from the stresses and frustrations that the sport can bring.

Let's hope that the trolley was not damaged too much, as they are expensive products. It would be a shame if the golfer had to fork out for another trolley, despite how funny the footage is.
