Bryson DeChambeau has hit out at United States Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson after etching his name on a second LIV Golf title in his last three starts.

DeChambeau, 30, fired a final-round 63 at LIV Golf Chicago to overturn an eight-stroke deficit at the start of the day into a one-stroke victory over his Crushers teammate Anirban Lahiri, who bogeyed the final hole with an untimely three-jab on the green.

Not only did DeChambeau win the individual prize but his Crushers GC won the team event, too. That meant Bryson scooped a giant $4.75m for his efforts in Chicago.

DeChambeau rattled in nine birdies with just one bogey in his final round of 63.

He even drained this monster from just shy of 80 feet:

It marked DeChambeau's second LIV Golf victory this season.

The first of which came at LIV Golf Greenbrier last month when DeChambeau finished 61-58 on the weekend.

DeChambeau's historic round of 58 was the first-ever in LIV Golf League history, and only one has ever been achieved on the PGA Tour (Jim Furyk, 2016 Travelers Championship).

But despite that incredible performance at Greenbrier, along with a second place at LIV Golf Andalucia just weeks prior to that and a T4 at the US PGA Championship earlier in the season, DeChambeau was still snubbed a pick in the US Ryder Cup team.

DeChambeau had played in both the 2018 and 2021 US Ryder Cup teams.

LIV Golf's Dustin Johnson also missed out.

Brooks Koepka was the only LIV Golf player to be picked.

Zach Johnson also picked Sam Burns, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.

Koepka finished T24 on 5-under par at LIV Golf Chicago.

He was teeing it up with a different driver ahead of the Ryder Cup, as well as a very different hair cut

Speaking to the media after winning LIV Golf Chicago on Sunday, DeChambeau took direct aim at Team USA skipper Johnson, who did not even communicate with him prior to revealing his picks at the end of August.

DeChambeau believes he and a number of his other compatriots on LIV Golf such as Dustin Johnson and Talor Gooch who did not receive a captain's pick should have at the very least been given a call.

DeChambeau said:

"It would have been nice to at least get a call.
"There's numerous people I think Zach should have called out here.
"We didn't get that, and I get it, but we're nothing different."

He added:

"Given how I played this week, I think I could have racked up some points for Team USA."

DeChambeau considers he is playing some of the best golf of his life right now:

"I would say the most consistently good golf of my life. I don't know if it's the top-notch but definitely when I shot 58 that was probably the best golf I've ever played, and winning the U.S. Open obviously is the ultimate thing. I played the best golf there, too. But I can definitely tell you this little stretch has been pretty sweet for me"
