Harold Varner III holes INCREDIBLE bunker shot en route to first LIV Golf win!

Harold Varner III made an incredible bunker hole-out in Washington, D.C., en route to earning his first LIV Golf victory on Sunday.

Varner, 32, joined LIV Golf mid-way through the inaugural 2022 season. He played in four individual events with his lone top-10 coming at the Bangkok event.

For 2023, he became a permanent member of the RangeGoats, and heading into this week in Washington, his best career LIV result was fourth.

But on Friday, Varner quickly grabbed the 18-hole lead at Trump National Washington D.C., with an impressive 8-under 64.

And after his round, Varner told reporters he didn't really care if his family were in attendance this week for the LIV Golf DC event.

He then followed his 64 up with an even-par 72 on Saturday, which placed him one-stroke back of Mito Pereira, who held the 36-hole lead at 9-under par.

However, Varner bounced back on Sunday with an incredible bunker hole out for birdie at the par-4 11th.

Varner started on the first hole for LIV Golf's shotgun start, and was playing in a group with Pereira and Henrik Stenson, who was 7-under after Saturday.

The American's birdie at the 462-yard 11th moved him to 2-under par for the day and 10-under for the tournament. It also gave him the solo lead with seven holes left to play.

He went on to make two more birdies in a bogey-free back nine to clinch his maiden LIV Golf win by one stroke over Branden Grace

This is Grace's second straight close-call on LIV, losing in a three-man playoff in Tulsa to Dustin Johnson.

Pereira, the leader when play began on Sunday, finished two strokes back at 10-under par. However he helped his team, Torque GC, to their own victory.

Grace's Stinger GC finished second, while Varner's win helped the RangeGoats to third.
