Bay Hill Plasma putter

A new putter from Bay Hill by Palmer is being launched to complement the makers’ latest set of Plasma woods and irons aimed at the improving golfer.

The Plasma putter, priced at £50, is both back-weighted and face-balanced and has a precision-milled face with polymer insert and red alignment bars. It has a distinctive padded headcover.

Also due for introduction soon is the Bay Hill Ice Diamond putter, similarly built but with an aluminium insert.

The Plasma woods and irons set is made up of a 460cc driver (9.5, 11 or 13-degree loft) and the option of two fairway metals or hybrids, equivalent to 3- and 5-wood. The woods have an interchangeable screw-weighting system.

The irons are 5- to sand wedge with the option of Spectre ‘Lite-weight’ steel or Bay Hill’s System X Pro Performance carbon shafts with three flex and other custom-fit alternatives as well as headcovers as standard.

The Plasma set retails at £269 for carbon shafts and £249 for steel.

When the clubs are launched in April, each new customer will have the chance to buy a year’s supply of durable HP 432 titanium balls for £12 – one dozen 15-pack vouchers retrievable for £1 apiece.
