FootJoy is experiencing incredible demand for its latest breakthrough ReelFit shoe, following their on course testing by Tour stars Davis Love, Simon Dyson and the long-hitting J B Holmes.

The revolutionary shoes feature the innovative Boa lacing system that tightens the shoe around the foot using adjustable steel micro-cable to ensure tension is retained throughout the round. FootJoy says it provides a consistent fit that shoes with laces cannot duplicate.

“The level of interest from golf retailers has been astounding," says FootJoy's European marketing director, John Peal. "We knew we had a hot product with its unique technology but the volume of advance orders from the trade has been incredible. "

The Boa Lacing System can be found in many high performance footwear categories outside golf, including the leading snowboard footwear, ice hockey boots and cycle shoes but in ReelFit, it's exclusive to the golf industry. Turn the dial on the back of the shoes to tighten the laces; pull it out for quick release and removal of shoes.

FootJoy ReelFit will be available in Europe in February 2007 in four different styles at a recommended price of around £149.95.
