Budget-priced golf brand Palm Springs, has a new range of woods and rescue clubs which will appeal to the UK golfers looking for new, good value equipment.

The Palm Springs Visa 460cc men's driver features a Titanium matrix head and a rear weighting system to lower the centre of gravity and delivers a higher ball flight.

Combined with a generous sweetspot and for more forgiveness at impact and powered by a quality graphite shaft, the makers claim the Visa will produce straighter drivers, even from miss-hits.

Priced at just £14.99 (recommended price £39.99), the Palm Springs Visa can even be bought online at www.thesportshq.com complete with headcover.

Palm Springs' Simon Millington says: "We produce easy-to-use equipment designed for beginners and intermediate golfers that is forgiving and cost-effective.

"We strike a balance between value and performance to deliver clubs that look and play like those costing twice as much."

With its eye-catching gold-coloured shaft, the driver is available in a 10.5 degree loft with either a stiff or regular flex. The Palm Springs Visa 460cc driver for women (£14.99) has a 12-degree loft option with a lightweight shaft and ice blue and silver colour scheme.

The range also includes 3- and 5-wood clubs (£12.99 each) and four utility clubs models (£12.99) with 15-, 18-, 21- and 24-degree lofts with regular and stiff shaft options.
