Cameron Smith continued to pave the way for Australian golf as he won his fourth PGA Tour title at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
He carded a fantastic final-round score of 65 to finish on 34-under-par, which beats Ernie Els' record which he also set at Kapalua on 31-under-par.
The 28-year-old finished one shot clear of Jon Rahm, who kept his World No.1 spot after Open champion Collin Morikawa finished tied fifth.
Smith broke an 11-year winning streak of American golfers at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. He also won the Sony Open in Hawaii in 2020.

Compatriot Matt Jones carded a superb score of 12-under-par on Sunday to finish in outright third place on 32-under-par. FedEx Cup champion Patrick Cantlay finished a further shot back in fourth place.
Smith opened his 2022 PGA Tour season in the perfect way and in doing so, he picked up the top prize of $1,476,000.
