You've just got to start them on line.

Those are the words Bryson DeChambeau apparently muttered under his breath towards Brooks Koepka and their rivalry seemingly began.

Koepka's face and the subsequent memes and jokes that spawned from their 'feud' went viral.

Taking pause, an eye-rolling Koepka then said he couldn't listen to his comments and briefly paused the interview.

But now, it's all gone a little bit too far, according to the PGA Tour and its commisioner Jay Monahan.

Monahan has announced that fans who shout 'Brooksy' breaches its code of ethics.

Fans can now expect to be marched off site by security if they shout the nickname.

"The barometer that we are all using is the word 'respect,' and to me, when you hear 'Brooksy' yelled or you hear any expression yelled, the question is, is that respectful or disrespectful?" said Monahan.

"That has been going on for an extended period of time. To me, at this point, it's disrespectful, and that's kind of behavior that we're not going to tolerate going forward."

This has been bubbling up for a while.

At the US PGA Championship, a fan purpotedly shouted the word towards Bryson in his practice round.

Whoever is yelling Brooksy at me needs to get out, DeChambeau is said to have replied.

DeChambeau later clarified he was more irritated by someone yelling during his backswing than anything else.

But at the Memorial Tournament, he had fans ejected for hollering at him.

It certainly will be interesting to see what happens at East Lake for the Tour Championship this week.

Bryson starts three shots off the pace in his bid for a first FedEx Cup title.

It will be a week where he will revel and want to play off the crowd.

The only question is, what will fans be yelling? And will they remain in the ground.
