Keegan Bradley says he's 'super bummed' he missed out on a Ryder Cup spot for Team USA.

Zach Johnson named his six captain's picks on 29 August and decided to leave Bradley at home.

He overlooked the poor form of Justin Thomas and opted to pick the 30-year-old. "You just don't leave JT at home," he said.

Johnson also picked Brooks Koepka and made the omission he didn't call the other LIV Golf players thought to be in contention.

Bradley had a strong finish to the 2023 campaign, winning the Travelers Championship for his sixth PGA Tour title.

The 37-year-old also advanced to the season-ending Tour Championship with 30 other golfers, finishing T-9 at East Lake.

Bradley's passion for the Cup is absolutely evident. He previously provided a perhaps OTT answer about his passion for the biennial competition.

The American has been one of the most passionate players in an era where some have been accused of not caring.

There is absolutely no doubt that Bradley and Cameron Young will feel particularly disappointed they were overlooked.

Bradley told Golf Channel's Todd Lewis:

"I could tell by the response from Zach when I answered the phone that I wasn't on the team…I'm super bummed out. I thought I put together a really good year with two wins…I am pulling for the US Team."

Bradley then added:

"I think [Thomas] is a generational talent... I've always been an outsider in the sport, but I have tried to get closer to the guys I thought would be on the team. I feel like moving forward, I'm going to have to automatically qualify for the Ryder Cup. [That said,] I am [still] pulling for the U.S. Team."
