It is understood he first started playing the game aged five and, by the time he was 13, was a scratch golfer.
Penge had considerable success in the junior and amateur ranks, representing England and Great Britain and Ireland.
He picked up his first professional victory on the EuroPro Tour in 2019 at the Irish Masters.
Victory at the Open de Portugal on the Challenge Tour saw Penge graduate to the DP World Tour.
Penge won his first DP World Tour title at the 2025 Hainan Classic in China. His second arrived at the Danish Golf Championship.
He made his first start in a major at the 2025 PGA Championship. He also qualified for The Open at Royal Portrush.
Penge has aspirations to one day represent Europe in the Ryder Cup and play on the PGA Tour.
The golfer married Sophie Lamb - also a former professional golfer - in 2023 and the couple welcomed the birth of their son, Enzo, in June 2024.
