Max Homa's former caddie Joe Greiner has landed a new job on the PGA Tour, according to a report.

The looper spent nearly six years carrying the sticks for Homa before their partnership came to an abrupt end on the eve of the 2025 Masters.

Homa confirmed that, after a downturn in his form, Greiner made the difficult decision to part ways so as to preserve their friendship

"It sucks," Homa said, adding: "We're friends first and friendship mattered more than the work thing, and he was wise enough to do what he did."

Greiner did not take too long to get a new job, linking up with two-time major winner Collin Morikawa.

Morikawa made the surprising decision to split with J.J. Jakovac in late April but his partnership with Greiner lasted five tournaments.

Two-time major champion Morikawa then had legendary caddie Billy Foster and his former college roommate K.K. Limbhaust fill-in before bringing in Mark Urbanek to his team.

Greiner, who also filled in for Justin Thomas while his regular caddie Matt Minister was injured and was on the bag when the 32-year-old won the RBC Heritage in April, appeared set to caddie for Jake Knapp in 2026.

But according to Golfweek, Greiner has been spotted at the Hero World Challenge and will carry Akshay Bhatia's clubs.

He has confirmed to the publication he will be on the bag full-time in 2026.

Bhatia, 23, is a two-time PGA Tour winner with huge potential.

He is currently ranked No. 43 in the Official World Golf Ranking and needed after his caddie, Brian Dilley, left for LIV Golf

Dilley now caddies for David Puig. The young Spaniard recently won the Australian PGA Championship.
