Scotland's Robert MacIntyre has announced the birth of his baby son.
Scotland's Robert MacIntyre has announced he is a father.
The European Ryder Cup star, 29, shared the adorable news via an Instagram announcement on 30 January.
MacIntyre's girlfriend Shannon Hartley has given birth to a baby boy and the couple to chose to name him Findlay.
Alongside a photograph of the their bundle of joy, a caption read: "Our new world #1. Findlay MacIntyre. Arrived 28.01.26."
European Ryder Cup captain, Luke Donald, and Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson were among those to pass on congratulatory messages.
It is not known when MacIntyre and Shannon, a nurse, began dating.
But she made her first appearance on his social media in July 2023 as the golfer prepared for The Open at Royal Liverpool.
She was spotted at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Italy during the 2023 Ryder Cup as he helped Europe to a comfortable five-point victory against the United States.

And she was present as the Oban man lifted his first ever PGA Tour title at the RBC Canadian Open in 2024.
The maiden win was very much a family affair as MacIntyre had his father Dougie on the bag.
Last September, MacIntyre contributed 1.5 points to the cause as the aforementioned Donald's Europe completed a memorable 15-13 away victory at Bethpage Black against the stars and stripes.
MacIntyre teamed up with Viktor Hovland in the foursomes and the duo won one of their matches and lost the other.
On the final day of the matches, MacIntyre secured a crucial half point against Sam Burns in the singles.
MacIntyre's incredible week
MacIntyre has already started well on the PGA Tour this season.
He shared fourth place at the Sony Open in Hawaii, pocketing $409,500 in prize money.
And last week he finished T38 at The American Express, won by Scottie Scheffler.
That result lifted MacIntyre into a career-high fifth in the world rankings.
MacIntyre broke into the top-10 last August following his second-place finish at the BMW Championship.
Last season, MacIntyre went close to securing his first major championship title.
Had it not been for the heroics of J.J. Spaun on the final hole of the U.S. Open at Oakmont, then MacIntyre could've very well been involved in a play-off.
Before the season began, MacIntyre revealed that his plans for this season are to try and add some length off the tee.
And also improve his wedge play.
"I wasn't hitting it close enough with a wedge," he previously said.
"When I'm a good putter, the closer you are the better.
"It's like anyone, the closer you are to the hole, the better chance you've got."
