Valspar Championship Round 3 Tee Times: Sungjae Im leads; Brooks Koepka in contention
Check out when all of the players tee off in the third round of the Valspar Championship, where Sungjae Im takes a narrow lead into the weekend at Innisbrook Resort.
Sungjae Im carded a steady 69 on day two to take a narrow one-shot lead into the weekend at the Valspar Championship in Tampa, while five-time major champion Brooks Koepka moved serenely into contention.
Im finds himself at 9-under par thru 36 holes on the fearsome Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort. The South Korean leads by one shot over American David Lipsky, who vaulted up the board Friday with a 65.
Im is looking to complete his PGA Tour hat-trick of titles and capture a first win since October 2021, while Lipsky is seeking his first on the circuit.
Doug Ghim and Chandler Blanchet are two shots off the pace heading into Saturday's third round on 7-under par.
English trio Matt Fitzpatrick, Marco Penge and Jordan Smith then round out the top five on 5-under par alongside Brandt Snedeker and Alex Smalley.
In-form Jacob Bridgeman is also once again in contention on 4-under par alongside former World No.1 Koepka, Tony Finau, Gary Woodland, Danny Walker and Corey Conners.
Koepka, who returned to the PGA Tour from LIV Golf this season, performed admirably in the second round with an improved 67.
Should Koepka go on to win the Valspar Championship it would mark a landmark 10th PGA Tour title and first since winning the US PGA in May 2023.
