'Why we all love him' Bryson DeChambeau with incredible act of kindness ahead of PGA Championship
Bryson DeChambeau praised just days before the PGA Championship for spending time and money to help a young boy battling cancer.
Bryson DeChambeau is once again being praised ahead of the PGA Championship following an incredible act of kindness to a young boy battling cancer.
According to the boy's mother, who took to Facebook to reveal what happened last week, DeChambeau, 31, went above and beyond to provide a memorable experience for her son.
Despite being busy preparing his game ahead of golf's second major of the season at Quail Hollow Club, the LIV Golf superstar invited the boy - named Evan A. Hayes - and his family to come and visit him.
He also paid for flights and accomodation.
But what the LIV Golf superstar did during his day with Evan was quite simply incredible...
DeChambeau first showed Evan and his family around his trophy room and gym.
They then headed out onto the practice area in his backyard, before moving on to Grapevine Golf Course in Texas.
There, DeChambeau helped Evan out with his golf game and gave him lots of great advice.

DeChambeau then invited Evan and his family back to his house to watch the sunset from his roof top deck.
He also kitted Evan out in one of his full Crushers GC outfits and gave him a load of golf balls and autographed memorabilia.
DeChambeau then drove Evan and his family back to the airport before wishing them well.
Evan's mother Stephanie took to social media to reveal the incredible experience.
Here's what Stephanie wrote on Facebook:
"Y'all!!! I can't even begin to explain to you the amazing person that Bryson DeChambeau is!
"Yesterday was such an awesome experience for my Evan A. Hayes.
"Not only did Bryson cover our experiences for flights and hotel, he invited us to his house where we hung out for the day
"He is a busy person. We hung out while he done an interview and then some shot footage with video creator Zach King, who also gave Evan some merch!
"We got to see his gym and trophy room. Him and Evan chipped balls out back on his putting greens. We got free range of his entire house. Evan got a full outfit from Bryson's personal closet. On top of golf balls and lots of autographed stuff! He fed us lunch and dinner, and an evening of golf on Grapevine Golf Course in Texas!
"Such a humble person, he even stopped and talked to and took pictures with everyone at the course who recognized him, which was pretty much everyone.
"We went back to his house after golf and watched the sunset from his roof top deck and then he took us to the airport.
"He is such a positive guy and gave Evan lots of great advice.
"What an awesome humble human being!!!"

Stephanie's post has since gone viral and fans have rightly been lauding DeChambeau for his incredible gesture to Evan and his family.
"Why we all love him," wrote one Bryson fan.
"I can't believe I used to hate this guy, way to go Bryson," commented another.
"Just superb once again Bryson, what a moment for the young boy," wrote one fan.
Another commented: "Bryson is such a legend."

DeChambeau has been giving back to his biggest fans for some time now.
He onced again did that when spending some time with kids on the First Tee program ahead of his Tuesday practice session at the PGA.
"It was a great breakfast," said DeChambeau.
"My message to the kids was just getting 1% better every day. Be passionate about what you do, it doesn't have to be golf, it doesn't have to sport, it could be business, art, music, but be passionate about it, take great care in it, and just do your absolute best every single day, and learn every day, that's a big deal. Hopefully that was the biggest takeaway they got."
The three-time LIV Golf winner has recently set up a new YouTube channel and acquired a whole load of new fans in the process.
DeChambeau films regular YouTube content with influencers and celebrity figures.
It's fair to say Bryson once proved something of a controversial character on his PGA Tour.
But ever since he switched to LIV Golf, it would seem like he has become one of the most popular Tour professionals in the game.
DeChambeau also publishes a lot of challenge-based content on YouTube and that has been received well with his biggest fans.
Bryson's YouTube channel has grown so quickly in such a short space of time.
He now has just shy of 2m subscribers, and his views on the channel are in the billions.
"I am very glad to be part of the journey," said DeChambeau when asked about his growing popularity on YouTube ahead of the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.
"Very thankful, very blessed.
"I didn't even think a few years ago we could get this far. I am honoured and glad to have a big support system behind me, I'm talking about my family and friends, and it's great to see all the fans out there coming out to support me and talk to me about my latest YouTube video that's just gone out.
"It really gives me perspective when I'm out there when someone yells out 'Hey let's do a Break 50' or 'I love your video with John Daly'. It really sets me back into a positive minset to know I'm doing this."
DeChambeau added: "It's been special seeing everybody give me praise, but I mean I don't always feel like I deserve it. I am just very blessed to have the following I do now, but I want to continue to grow it.
"I want to do more than just the game of golf, I want to grow outside of golf, I want to bring other golfers who had never seen the game into golf, and YouTube is a great platform to do that. I am grateful to have partners at YouTube and Google now and super excited to see what the future holds because there is a lot more room to grow."
DeChambeau is seeking a first PGA title and a third career major win to sit alongside his U.S. Open triumphs in 2020 and 2024.
He is one of 15 LIV Golf players in the PGA field.
DeChambeau is priced up at pre-tournament odds of 10/1 third favourite behind joint 5/1 favourites Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.
Bryson won his third LIV Golf title in Korea earlier this month.
He finished T5 at The Masters last month.
DeChambeau has collected four top-10 finishes in his last five majors, highlighted by defeating McIlroy by one shot at the 2024 U.S. Open.
