Here is a great golf tip to ensure you can hit effortless tee shots with your driver down the middle of the fairway, no matter your age.
In Danny Maude's latest video lesson, you will learn how to hit your driver straight and long, but in any easy, simple way. Watch the video below to see how you can hit the ball further with a swing that requires even less effort...
DANNY'S KEY TIPS FOR EASY GOLF SWINGS WITH THE DRIVER
1. Use the ground, and relax your arms. Get the heel of the left foot coming up, and the toe of the right - as if you are walking on the spot. This keeps you centred and not swaying around. Now experience how the shift of that pressure effects the way you swing the arms (watch from 3 mins to see this drill).
2. Let your arms hang down naturally. Up and down, backwards and forwards. As you get to the top, imagine the sensation of the lower body effecting this. We want there to be a foot-to-hand swing. Once we've done that, we then want a foot-to-head swing. Get a sensation of the motion (watch from 4 mins to see this drill).
3. Then I want you to stomp down on the downswing. You are pushing pressure into the heel and the front of the trail foot. Now introduce a target. Visualise the shot you want to hit, and not what you don't. Backwards and forwards motion, and then gradually introduce the connection with the clubhead (watch from 13 mins for the full summary of this drill).
