Set to host the prestigious Solheim Cup this September — the first time the event will be staged in the Netherlands — Bernardus is showcasing what it calls The Bernardus Experience: a seamless Play, Eat & Stay offering that blends championship golf, Michelin-star dining and boutique on-course accommodation.

Located in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant, near the historic city of ’s-Hertogenbosch and the picturesque Van Gogh National Park, Bernardus sits within a tranquil natural landscape while remaining highly accessible for international visitors. The venue is approximately 30 minutes from Eindhoven Airport and easily reachable from both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, making it a convenient destination for travelling golfers.

The Bernardus Experience has been designed for players who want more from a standard golf day, transforming a round into a full on-site escape. Rather than leaving the property between tee time, dinner and overnight stay, guests can move seamlessly from the course to the table and into the comfort of their room — creating a relaxed, immersive golf getaway.

At the heart of the experience is the venue’s championship golf course, where visitors can enjoy unlimited golf throughout the day. Guests also benefit from access to the full practice facilities, including the driving range, short-game areas and premium training environments used by elite players.

Dining forms a key part of the stay. The on-site Noble Kitchen, a Michelin-starred restaurant, provides the evening centrepiece with a refined six-course dinner. Known for its precision, creativity and atmosphere, the restaurant offers a memorable culinary conclusion to a day on the course.

Accommodation is provided at Bernardus Lodge, an intimate boutique retreat located directly on the course. The lodge features eight contemporary double rooms with spacious bathrooms, designed to offer privacy, comfort and immediate access to the first tee — ideal for golfers who want to maximise their time on the course.

Guests staying at the Lodge also enjoy access to the venue’s leisure facilities, including a gym, sauna, hammam and tennis court. A heated outdoor pool is open from 1 April until 1 October, offering an additional way to unwind after a day of golf.

The experience is equally appealing for non-golfing partners. They receive complimentary access to the leisure facilities and can enhance their stay with optional activities such as massage treatments, personal training sessions in the gym or golf lessons on the range.

Designed by renowned architect Kyle Phillips, Bernardus has developed a reputation for exceptional course conditioning and presentation. The venue hosted the DP World Tour’s Dutch Open in 2021, 2022 and 2023, further establishing its credentials as one of Europe’s standout modern tournament venues.

Now, as Bernardus prepares for a defining moment on the global stage with the upcoming Solheim Cup, the venue continues to position itself as a contemporary golf and lifestyle destination where attention to detail, service and atmosphere shape the entire stay — both on and off the course.

This year will also mark the first time the PING Junior Solheim Cup will be played on the same course as the Solheim Cup itself, placing Bernardus at the centre of an important week in women’s golf.

Sabine Riezebos, General Manager at Bernardus, said:
“The Bernardus Experience reflects what we aim to offer every day: exceptional golf, warm hospitality and the simplicity of staying right on the course. As we look ahead to the Solheim Cup in 2026, we look forward to welcoming visitors who want to experience Bernardus as a complete destination where golf, dining and relaxation come together naturally.”

As part of the wider Bernardus Experience — available from Wednesday to Sunday — visitors can stay and play at the Solheim Cup venue through a range of seasonal packages.

For a one-night stay including full-day access to the course and practice facilities, prices start from €662.50 in low season and €722.50 in high season. Packages for two guests begin from €1,035 in low season and €1,155 in high season.

These packages include golf, accommodation and food, with beverages charged separately. Full details and seasonal availability can be found via the official booking channels.
