You might have missed this, but this is a pretty cool story regarding Aleksandar Radoicic on the DP World Tour

Earlier in the week, he became the first golfer from Montenegro to qualify for an event on the former European Tour circuit.

He certainly appeared to enjoy the celebrations. See below as he is hoisted onto the shoulders of family and friends after qualifying for the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Switzerland.

What made the story even cooler was the fact that Radoicic earned his spot in the competition via a simulator!

According to the DP World Tour official website, Radoicic was one of 500 people from 17 countries who entered the four-round qualifier on the simulator.

The contestants played the same course as where the event is being held. They used Foresight Golf simulators.

Radoicic was one of three players who made it down to the final round. There, he shot a 1-over par 71 which was good enough to qualify.

Cue scenes.

He was paired with Spain's Eduardo De La Riva and the amateur from Switzerland, Maximilien Surdza, for the opening two rounds.

Heaven knows how he must have felt teeing it up on a real golf course!

In the opening round, he shot a 5-over par 75. He was due to tee off at 14.30 CEST on day two but play was suspended due to the threat of lightning.
