Cobra has revealed its new KING PUR wedge, featuring the brand’s patented Progressive Spin Technology in three sole grinds.

BEST WEDGES 2016 TEST

Made from Raw 304 stainless steel, the Cobra KING PUR wedge is finished so that it diffuses sunlight to reduce glare at address.

The wedge boasts Progressive Milled Grooves which have wider grooves and closer gapping on higher lofted wedges, and thinner, deeper grooves on lower lofted wedges, offering more spin.

Cobra reveals King Pur wedge

The new wedge, which keeps the Cobra notch from previous years, comes in three sole grinds allowing players to get a product to suit their game.

“We recognise that not all golfers approach the short game with the same shot-making strategy, and turf interaction varies widely from course to course. Thus, we designed our KING PUR Wedges with three grind options to better fit the needs of golfers with different short-games, from a variety of conditions,” said Jose Miraflor, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Cobra.

“In addition to having a sole grind to fit a variety of golfers, our new KING PUR wedges are our best feeling and highest performing to date, thanks to the incredible spin and softness that our Pure Steel construction provides.”
