PING, one of the world's biggest and best golf club brands, left fans and players frothing at the mouth by teasing the release of their new driver.

The new G430 is set to take the golf world by storm in 2023 and the well-known company tweeted an image of the club on Twitter, as well as revealing that Keegan Bradley used it on his way to winning the ZOZO Championship.

Bradley finished one shot ahead of Rickie Fowler and Andrew Putnam at Narashino Country Club in Japan to secure his first win in four years and his fifth on the PGA Tour.

They were first launched on the Tour at the Shriners Children's Open where Jason Day told GolfWRX about his views on the new release.

"Well, apparently it’s supposed to be a couple of miles per hour faster, is what (PING is) saying, and they’re also saying that it tends to go left-to-right," Day said on the new G430 LST design.

"It may not work for someone who already fades it, but I’m one of the guys who (hits a draw). But it seemed pretty good. I still have to test it out over the next couple of days, but I’m driving it about the same, if not a little bit further, than my G410 that I had. But we’ll see, it’s so early. Right now, it’s pretty friggin’ nice.

"I just like the way it looks and sits on the ground already. I don’t like things looking like they have too much loft and like it’s looking up at you and hooded a bit. The loft on (the G430 LST), it looks like you’re gonna hit these low bullet fades all day. The way that it looks right now, it’s really good."

PING Golf Europe stated that the new driver will be available for fittings in mid-January 2023. The company revealed that they had 22 drivers in play at the ZOZO Championship, with the G430 being the most popular.

The G430 will be the newest PING driver since the G425 was released in early 2021. This proved to be one of the best golf drivers of that year.

The company are yet to discuss the technological differences between the G425 model and the new G430. PGA Tour player Mito Pereira also told GolfWRX about how fast the driver felt.

"I was using the G425 Max before, and I will tell you, that one was slower. I went for the G430 LST, I mean, it’s pretty fast, probably 2-3 mph more ball speed... I’ve been trying it for two days now. It feels good and looks good," the Chilean said.

"My (G425) Max driver was sounding not good, but this one (the new G430 LST) sounds really good. Way better. It’s a more compact sound, and it sounds better. For now, I think I’m going to give it a try this week."
