Ben Griffin WITB: Everything in the bag of the US Ryder Cup star
GolfMagic breaks down the full equipment line-up of the aviator-wearing American.
While he wasn't able to help inspire his team to victory at the 2025 Ryder Cup, American Ben Griffin has nonetheless had a season to celebrate.
The North Carolina native, who started the 2025 season ranked 68th in the world, will likely finish the year in the OWGR Top 10 after capping off a third PGA Tour victory at the weekend's WWT Championship.
Griffin joins illustrious company in this year's trio-winning club, with only Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy having also won three times this year. And while he was unable to turn the tide against the Americans at Bethpage Black, there's no doubt that his performances throughout the season warranted his inclusion as a captains pick in the Team USA line-up.
A Mizuno ambassador, Griffin plays a fairly eclectic mix of the Japanese brand's clubs alongside a few surprise inclusions from other manufacturers: a common trait of Mizuno staff players.
Here, then, is the full set of clubs that has fired him to victory three times on tour this year, including a brand new addition to the putter that earned him his most recent win over the weekend.

Driver: Ping G430 Max 10K
Proving that even the best players in the world can sometimes wield a more forgiving driver to maximum effect, Griffin has been loyal in his use of Ping's Max-sized G430 10K model over the last couple of years.
While not known as one of the PGA Tour's longest or most accurate drivers, Griffin has nonetheless played well with the Ping in all three of his tour victories this year, leaning on the Max 10K's high MOI properties to tighten dispersion.
Fairway Woods: TaylorMade Qi10
Griffin has cycled through numerous set-ups at the longer end of his bag throughout the season, occassionally swapping out one of his fairway woods for a Mizuno FlyHi driving iron and also tinkering with TaylorMade's more recent Qi35 fairway woods.
For now, however, he seems to have settled on a pair of Qi10 fairway woods, jumping on the recent tour trend of installing a 7-wood into his set up for forgiveness, distance and high launch when approaching the green from a distance.
Irons: Mizuno Pro S-3
It takes a pure ball striker to utilise Mizuno's legendary Pro series irons to their full effect, and Griffin is just that. The American plays some of the Japanese brand's most sought-after cavity-back blades in the form of the Mizuno Pro S-3 model, recognisable for its triple-cut sole, clean lines and buttery soft forged feel.

Wedges: Mizuno Pro T1, TaylorMade MG5
Griffin has made a few short game switches in his bag for the 2025 season, embracing a pair of recently released models in the Mizuno Pro T1 wedge and TaylorMade's brand new Milled Grind 5 range. The Mizuno acts as Griffin's gap wedge, with Griffin favouring the range of bounces and grinds offered by TaylorMade's newer line for more workability around the greens.

Putter: TaylorMade Spider Tour X
Another week, another pro golfer switching into TaylorMade's Spider putter to winning effect.
Griffin, a long-time Scotty Cameron loyalist, adopted the Spider Tour X Black for the WWT Championship and saw immediate success on the greens as a result, claiming not just his first win but ranking second in putts per GIR throughout the weekend. Not a bad way to start a relationship.
Golf Ball: Maxfli Tour X
The announcement of Maxfli's return to the premium ball space was a huge win for retro gear nerds worldwide, and Ben Griffin has been by far the brand's biggest signing since re-emerging on tour, seeing the Maxfli logo not just returning to the winner's circle three times this year but also the heat of Ryder Cup action.
Griffin plays the Tour X model, a slightly firmer model with a four-layer design, urethane cover and higher compression to help tour-level swingers achieve maximum distance.
