Tommy Fleetwood finalises split with Nike, debuts new shoes at Texas Open
The World Number 3 has moved on from the Swoosh once and for all.

It's felt like a long time coming, but Tommy Fleetwood's protracted exit from Nike's athlete roster is now complete.
The Englishman has made plenty of headlines with his apparel choices throughout the opening stretch of the season, his contract with the sportswear giant having expired at the end of the 2025 season. Now an apparel free agent, he has taken to the course in a number of different brands, and notably inked a deal with Private Equity company Blackstone last week to become his new front of hat sponsor.
An enduring remnant of Fleetwood time with Nike did remain, however, in his choice of footwear. Up until last week, he had remained faithful to his Nike Victory Pro 4 shoes. But that changed over the weekend at the Texas Open, when he stepped out at TPC San Antonio debuting a new choice of footwear – an unreleased white and navy variant of Sun Day Red's Presidio model.
We tested the Presidios earlier this year and found them to be excellent shoes, delivering an outstanding blend of style, comfort and stability while offering some of the best grip of any spikeless golf shoes we've tested.
Sun Day Red is, of course, part owned by Fleetwood's equipment supplier TaylorMade, leading many to speculate that the Englishman would begin to start working products from Tiger Woods-founded brand into his wardrobe eventually. This also evidently opens up a wealth of customisation options for Fleetwood, as his Presidios are spiked – an option not available to the general public.
Fleetwood would go on to place in a tie for 10th with the Presidios on foot. Curious to see how they perform? You can grab a pair for yourself at the link above and learn more at Sun Day Red's website.
