Is Tiger Woods suffering from fatigue? This would suggest so...
Woods skips the Pro-Am at the BMW Championship - the first time he's ever asked out in his career.
Tiger Woods has shocked many of us with his resurgence on Tour this season, but his comments in recent weeks would suggest the former world number one is suffering from burnout as his season draws to a close.
Woods, who last week said he wished he'd copied Rory McIlroy and bypassed The Northern Trust two weeks ago, has decided to skip this week's BMW Championship Pro-Am.
According to reports, this is the first time in Woods' illustrious career that he has asked out of a pro-am tournament.
Now in the midst of a fifth tournament in a six-week stretch, Woods is playing the most golf at once since his last full season on Tour in 2013.
Woods lies 25th in the FedEx Cup standings heading into this week's third FedEx Cup Playoffs event, but still requires a solid finish if he's to make the top-30 spots in the season-ending Tour Championship in two weeks' time.
