The 150th Open Championship: How much they all won at St Andrews

Cameron Smith rained on Rory McIlroy's parade at the 150th Open Championship.

In the process, Smith scooped a massive $2,500,000 for his maiden major victory after a stunning Sunday 64 to claim the Claret Jug at the Old Course.

The R&A announced earlier in the month an increase in the overall prize money pay out to a total of $14million.

It represented a 22 per cent increase from last year. All of the majors have increased their prize purses in 2022.

Scottie Scheffler scooped $2.7million for winning The Masters. Justin Thomas won the same amount at the U.S. PGA Championship.

But England's Matthew Fitzpatrick picked up the biggest winner's check at the U.S. Open, winning a mind-boggling $3.15million.
