Cameron Smith won $3.6million last week after taking down The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass with a white-knuckle finish.
And although the winner's share is smaller than that this week, the top prize is still a staggering $1.4million. The total prize purse is $7.8million.
Sam Burns is the defending champion and he was T3 going into the weekend. Matthew NeSmith held the 36-hole lead after shooting a stunning 10-under 61 on Friday. He tied the course record.
