Justin Thomas provided a moment of pure comedy when reacting to Jordan Spieth explaining how he was struggling to control the pace of his putts at the 2022 Presidents Cup

Thomas and Spieth have combined once again, proving to be a formidable pairing for Davis Love III's U.S. side that cantered into an 8-2 lead after two days' play at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte.

The duo beat the International pairing of Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama 2&1 in the morning foursomes on day one, then followed that with a victory by the same margin against Sungjae Im and Corey Conners on day two.

As ever, the pair got the home crowd absolutely pumped.

Thomas also decided to show Spieth what he thought of one putt. It's fair to say he thinks Spieth has big cojones:

Speaking to the media afterwards, Spieth gave his reaction to winning the match.

"I mean, today -- I made an adjustment after yesterday's round," Spieth, 29, said: "My speed control was really bad. I made a setup adjustment and really just, once I had freedom on my speed control, I just started to get a little more dialled in on the lines.

"Like he [Thomas] mentioned, he made a good amount of birdies out there, and they were on opposite holes of mine. That's just the way it needs to be in four-ball."

Thomas's facial expressions during this exchange were absolutely hilarious.
