Tony Finau has no problem with the LIV Golf League players.

In fact, he misses quite a lot of them. But most of all, he misses hanging out with Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims.

"I haven't seen them in literally like a year," Finau said as he was stopped by a TMZ reporter before heading into a restaurant with his wife Alayna.

It's not just Koepka who Finau misses. He's tight with "a lot of the international guys" such as Abraham Ancer and Carlos Ortiz.

Asked if he's "still cool with the LIV guys", Finau said: "Yeah, oh yeah! We like 'em." Finau said the situation "sucks".

Finau was one of several PGA Tour players who was filmed for the upcoming Netflix documentary Full Swing.

There is an entire episode dedicated to Finau so it will be interesting to see what life was like behind-the-scenes as pro golf ripped itself apart.

Why didn't Finau join LIV Golf?

Finau, like everyone else, had the chance to jump to LIV Golf last year but opted to stay with the North American circuit.

He was in a rich vein of form in 2022, winning three times as he took his haul of PGA Tour titles to five.

The 33-year-old previously explained his decision to stay put:

"To me, at this point in my career, it's so much about the satisfaction of winning golf tournaments and playing against the best players in the world on what I feel is the best tour in the world.
"And the satisfaction that comes from it, no amount of money can buy. It's just the fulfillment that I'm after, after all these years of working hard and now being at my best that I’ve ever been, to have the opportunity to reap the rewards."
