Scottie Scheffler enjoyed a meteoric rise in 2022 that saw him become a Masters champion.
One person who has been spotted by his side ever since he made his PGA Tour debut is his wife Meredith Scudder.
Scheffler and Meredith grew up in Texas. They met at Highland Park High School but it was not until college that they started dating.
Interestingly, Scheffler, 26, was attending the University of Texas whilst Meredith was studying at the rival University of Texas A&M.
They maintained the long-distance relationship and Scheffler regularly visited his girlfriend on campus. They both graduated in 2018.
He proposed to Meredith, 26, at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in June 2020 and got a resounding yes.
Meredith has been a huge supporter of Scheffler's career and she has been there for many of his best moments.
She carried his bag during the Masters Par 3 contest before he went on to win the green jacket.
After his maiden major win, Scheffler spoke of how he became so overwhelmed before the final round he "cried like a baby".
He said of Meredith's support:
When did they get married?
The couple had a winter wonderland themed wedding in December 2020.
Their service took place at Arlington Hall in Dallas, Texas.
Do they have children?
Not yet.
Anything else about the couple?
They are are both Christians.
They are also both huge fans of The Office.
Scheffler and Meredith appeared in the first season of the Netflix documentary Full Swing.
