Golf analyst Brandel Chamblee has stunned fans on social media by claiming Bryson DeChambeau will not just be representing the United States at the Ryder Cup, but also Saudi Arabia.

Chamblee, 63, has been a vocal critic of all things LIV Golf since its inaguration in the summer of 2022.

LIV Golf is bankrolled by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).

The one-time PGA Tour winner made his latest feelings be known about DeChambeau on X / Twitter.

Chamblee was quizzed by one account as to whether he will be supporting DeChambeau when he represents Keegan Bradley's 2025 US Ryder Cup team against Luke Donald's Europe at Bethpage in New York next month.

Although Chamblee did not specifically answer that question, his reply spoke volumes as for his thoughts about the two-time US Open champion.

"He’s one of the best players in the world no doubt, but he will be playing, not for the USA, but for Saudi Arabia in the Ryder Cup," wrote Chamblee on X / Twitter.

"If you disagree, just watch the LIV bots, LIV funders/supporters and those who have been bought by LIV celebrate if he plays well."

Chamblee's comments about DeChambeau have ruffled plenty of feathers on social media.

Many golf fans consider it's one of his worst takes of all time.

DeChambeau is currently inside the automatic spots to make Bradley's team.

Although he could fall out of the top six after the BMW Championship this week and next week's Tour Championship, which concludes the automatic qualification process.

DeChambeau is currently in action at LIV Golf Indianapolis.

Bradley has already confirmed DeChambeau will make the team regardless.

DeChambeau this weekend hit back at the PGA Tour after being denied an invite to compete in next month's Procore Championship, which takes place two weeks before the Ryder Cup.

It is part of Bradley's plan and urgings for his team members to compete on Tour in the lead up to the biennial dust-up with Europe.

Scottie Scheffler has already taken note

There is a feeling on Bradley's part - and among other members - that the American players were too rusty at the 2023 Ryder Cup because they took too much time off ahead of the contest at Marco Simone.

Zach Johnson's 2023 US Ryder Cup team lost to Donald's European team by five points.

USA are marginal favourites to win the 2025 Ryder Cup.

The last team to win a Ryder Cup away from home was Europe at Medinah in 2012.
