Grant Forrest captured his second DP World Tour title with a dominant victory on home soil at the Nexo Championship at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Forrest, 32, was afforded the luxury of making a double-bogey seven down the par-5 18th en route to a comfortable four-shot win.
The Scot closed with a level-par 72 - after finding the bushes on the 18th - to finish the week on 9-under par and four shots clear of Joe Dean.
He was greeted on the 18th green by his wife Christy and their baby boy Spencer.
Forrest has now won twice on the DP World Tour with both victories coming in his home nation.
He landed his first title with a one-shot victory at the 2021 Hero Open at Fairmont St Andrews.
Forrest pocketed a healthy $467,500 for winning at the 2025 Nexo Championship.
He also earns an additional $10,000 courtesy of his course record of 66 on Friday.
The win now vaults Forrest up the rankings and assures him of his DP World Tour card for next season having been on the bubble for a Category 10 card.
On top of that, Forrest also now surges to the top of the board in the Closing Swing Rankings with 633.8 points.
If he remains there following the conclusion of next weekend's Danish Golf Championship then he will win another $200,000.
"It's amazing, just speechless," Forrest said immediately after his win.
"I think it's the same week on the calendar that I won in 2021 at home.
"Tough day today, didn't have my best at all, a lot of good par saves on front nine, and I was pretty nervous down the last, but yeah can't believe it.
"It's been such a tough year on the course, it's a crazy game that you can come out and do this."
"I was way down the rankings heading into this week, and while I had started to play a bit better was very much on the bubble.
"But one week can turn things around and it sure has."
John Parry, Jacob Skov Olesen and Kristoffer Retain rounded out the top five on 3-under par.
The tournament took place on Donald Trump's New Course at International Golf Links.
A number of players have described the course as one of the best links they have ever played.
