Jon Rahm unleashes loud F-bomb on LIV Golf after being told he won't get…

Jon Rahm unleashed a loud F-bomb during his LIV Golf debut at Mayakoba, just 24 hours after being told by officials he would not be fined for swearing on the circuit.

Rahm, who signed for LIV Golf at the end of 2023 for a reported $600m, got off to a solid start in his first-ever round on the Saudi-bankrolled league.

The World No.3 birdied five of his first seven holes to race into early contention but despite moving to 7-under par thru 15 holes, the wheels came off at the end of his round as he signed off with back-to-back bogeys.

It was on the par-4 18th where Rahm's frustrations reached boiling point as he let off one of his customary F-bombs on the tee.

Rahm pulled his drive slightly and as his ball was heading for the sand, he bellowed 'F***, get lucky'.

Unfortunately his Callaway Chrome Soft X did not listen and it ended up on the beach.

Rahm's first-ever LIV Golf F-bomb came just 24 hours after he and his new team member Tyrrell Hatton were informed by a LIV Golf official there are no fines for swearing here.

That drew smiles from Rahm and Hatton during their pre-tournament presser.

Despite Rahm's hot start, a disappointing end meant it all added up to a 5-under 66.

It leaves Rahm with plenty of work to do over the final two rounds as Chile's Joaquin Niemann fired the second sub-60 round in LIV Golf history with a stunning 12-under 59

Niemann has opened up a commanding five-stroke lead over former Masters champion Patrick Reed

Rahm finds himself in a tie for fourth.
