Farmers Insurance Open field 2026: Who is joining Brooks Koepka?

Brooks Koepka is set to officially return to the PGA Tour next week. 

The 36-year-old American was among the first players to be recruited by the PIF-backed LIV Golf in 2022. 

But the five-time major champion called time on his association with LIV last December - despite having 12 months remaining on his contract. 

Koepka was granted access to return to the American circuit via the "returning members programme" which is open until 2 February.

Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith are also eligibile to return to the PGA Tour if they wish but all three say they are going nowhere. 

Part of the terms of Koepka's return means he has to play in 15 PGA Tour events to keep his playing rights in 2027. 

That means we are likely to see him tee up in events for the very first time. 

Koepka decided his first start would be the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. 

He is no stranger to this tournament, having played here on four occasions. 

Competitors in the field play the North and South courses before a 36-hole cut. 

Koepka tied for 41st in his 2015 debut and has since missed three cuts.

The PGA Tour confirmed the full field on 23 January. 

Ludvig Aberg, Keegan Bradley, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele are among the notables playing. 

World number one Scottie Scheffler and his nearest challenger, Rory McIlroy, is not playing.
