PGA Tour rookie Jake Knapp claimed his maiden victory on the North American circuit at the 2024 Mexico Open.
Knapp held a commanding four-stroke lead heading into the final round at Vidanta Vallarta.
The 29-year-old was briefly caught by another rookie, Finland's Sami Valimaki, but held his nerve to win by two strokes.
The Mexico Open had a top prize of $8m, meaning Knapp took home the top prize of $1,458,000.
