Grinning Tiger Woods arrives back in America after completing rehab
Tiger Woods is understood to have completed treatment at a rehab clinic in Switzerland.
Tiger Woods has been photographed back in the United States after receiving treatment overseas.
The golf legend's private jet landed in Florida on 12 June and the 50-year-old even cracked a smiled for the cameras.
He has been in Switzerland receiving treatment after being involved in a car crash on 27 March.
Woods clipped the rear of a truck he was attempting to overtake near his home in Jupiter, Florida.
The 15-time major champion has denied driving under the influence but was granted permission by a judge to receive treatment overseas.
He has also been charged with damaging property and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
Overall, Woods spent six weeks in a rehab clinic in Zurich from April to early May.
He briefly returned to the United States last month after his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, announced she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Woods has been dating the 48-year-old former model for more than a year.
They first went public with their relationship in March.
Her eldest daughter, Kai, and Woods' teenage son, Charlie, went to the same high school in Florida.
What's next?
Tiger Woods is likely to continue laying low for the next few months.
He is not playing in next week's U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and he failed to register in time to play in next month's Open at Royal Birkdale.
It means that for the second year in a row he will miss all four men's majors.
Woods has been reduced to a limited schedule since sustaining serious leg injuries in another car crash in February 2021.
There is a chance that Woods plays on the PGA Tour Champions later this year.
Woods' buddy, Jim Furyk, hosts one of the tournament's on the over-50s circuit. The tournament will be played over 3-5 October at Timuquana Country Club.
Asked recently about the chance of Woods playing, Furyk told Golfweek: "Tiger has always been pretty quiet about his plans for the future.
"The Champions Tour would obviously love to know his plans and for us, the players would love to have him come out.
"His impact would be incredible. But Tiger is Tiger. He plays thing close to the vest."
Tiger Woods car crash - what happened?
Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash near his home on Jupiter Island on 27 March.
According to investigators, Woods was attempting to pass a truck towing a trailer and clipped its rear.
Woods' Land Rover rolled onto its driver's side and the golfer, with assistance, managed to crawl out. Nobody was injured.
When cops arrived on the scene, they claimed that Woods showed signs of impairment, with bloodshot and glassy eyes.
Bodycam footage showed Woods kneeling down and calmly explaining that he was changing the radio station and distracted by his phone moments before the collision.
Woods could also be seen speaking on his mobile phone after the crash. He claimed he was speaking to the president.
Further footage showed Woods hiccupping in the back off a police vehicle, draped in a towel.
He passed a breathalyser test but refused urinalysis.
Police later reported finding two white hydrocodone pills in his pocket.
Prosecutors were recently given the green light to access his medical records as part of the case, although they will be kept away from the public.
Woods has denied the charges and his next court appearance is scheduled for on 7 July.
