Bryson DeChambeau WITB (March 2026): Everything in the bag of the LIV star
We take a deep dive into the unique set-up of the two-time US Open champion.

No matter what you think about him, it's beyond doubt that Bryson DeChambeau gets people talking unlike anyone else in the game of golf.
The big-hitting American, already a two-time major champion before his defection to LIV Golf in 2022, was one of the Saudi golf league's highest-profile acquisitions upon its inception. Since then, he's proved a dominant force both on the league's global tour and on it, routinely challenging for major victories, starring in Ryder Cups, and just recently
Known from early in his career as one of Golf's most prolific equipment tinkerers, the contents of Bryson's bag draw scrutiny unlike almost any other golfer. The American is renowned for his willingness to work with small, experimental brands that tailor clubs specifically to his unique, power-forward style, making his set-up one of the most eclectic and constantly changing in the game.
As such, with Bryson claiming back-to-back wins on the LIV circuit having made some serious changes to his bag to start the 2026 season, we thought it about time to take another deep dive into DeChambeau's bag.

Driver & Woods: Krank Golf Formula Fire LD
Bryson is renowned for his big-hitting nature and overwhelming power, hitting his zenith with an appearance in the World Long Driving Championships back in 2022.
His metalwoods, developed by specialty brand Krank, are a relic of this time, engineered with incredibly low lofts and a carbon cup face made from super-hardened beta titanium. The unique bulge and roll of the clubs allow DeChambeau to keep his spin and dispersion in check when swinging it at 175mph+. They feature a
The Formula Fire LD driver is a favourite on the long drive circuit, having been used by 26 world champions.
They come equipped with custom shafts developed by LA Golf: a company DeChambeau had an official partnership with until a messy split earlier this year.
Irons: Avoda Prototype
DeChambeau was pro golf's earliest adopter of irons from upstart manufacturer Avoda, which is renowned for engineering their irons with progressive face curvatures that aim to dramatically reduce dispersion and spin in the hands of better ball strikers.
Bryson's Avodas are slightly different than those available to the masses, having been 3D printed specifically to his specs and once again fitted with custom shafts developed by LA Golf. Like Bryson's other clubs, all of his irons are also distinguishable for their oversized JumboMax Ultralite grips.
His success with the irons has caught the eye of more than a few of DeChambeau's fellow tinkerers – Jason Day has since put a custom set of Avodas into his own bag.
Wedges: Bettinardi HLX 6.0, Ping Glide 4.0
Bryson has been a long-time fan of PING's wedges, having gamed a full set of the brand's Glide range up until this year. However he made a surprising change in the lead-up to LIV's Singapore event, switching into a pair of HLX 6.0 wedges from American manufacturer Bettinardi.
Bettinardi is, of course, best-known for its hand-milled putters, however the brand cuts an underrated trade in premium irons and wedges which are distinguishable for their high-quality, hand-finished look and soft carbon steel forged feel.
The switch seemed to work, as Bryson took two of the new wedges to back-to-back wins in Singapore and South Africa. His Bettinardis come in 50 and 56 degree lofts, while he retains his trusty PING Glide 4.0 60 degree for tight shots around the green.
Putter: SIK Pro C-Series Armlock
DeChambeau is well-known for his less-than-orthodox armlock putting technique, which in combination with his custom SIK putter has made for a formidable proposition on the greens. DeChambeau's SIK putter is engineered with what SIK calls Descending Loft Technology (DLT), meaning that four surfaces of descending lofts are milled into the face to create a more consistent launch angle and roll regardless of where Bryson strikes it on the face.
Golf ball: Titleist Pro V1x 'Double Dot' Prototype
While DeChambeau has seen success with more conventional golf ball models before, the American fell out of love with the Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash he used to win the US Open back in 2024, declaring it too spinny for his game.
He's since adopted a special prototype version of the Pro V1x, known colloquially as the 'Double Dot' and also favoured by Cameron Young due to its lower-spinning performance for players with ultra-high swing speeds. The Double Dot remains a Titleist CPO (Custom Performance Option) model, meaning it's only available to tour players.
