Jordan Spieth implores Tiger Woods to 'finally go to the good side'
Jordan Spieth says he will send a pair of Under Armour shoes to Tiger Woods to convince him to sign with the brand after his split with Nike.
In the end Tiger Woods' decision to part ways with Nike wasn't surprising.
When Woods, now 48, confirmed he was leaving the swoosh after 27 years and four contracts with the sportswear giant he promised 'another chapter'.
Speculation is now mounting over where that chapter will be.
His equipment sponsor, TaylorMade, is the front runner as it appears the OEM may be branching out into apparel.
Will FootJoy make a play? Woods has been wearing their golf shoes since his 2021 car crash as they provide more stability to his fused right ankle that is being held together by screws.
Greyson Clothiers is another brand worth considering for Woods. But they may need to sweeten the pot by offering the golfer an equity deal.
Tiger's teenage son Charlie was wearing Greyson apparel during their most recent appearance together at the PNC Championship.
Perhaps Tiger will launch his own brand considering his influence on the game remains hugely powerful.
Jordan Spieth has revealed in an interview with Forbes there is a home for him at Under Armour.
Spieth signed with Under Armour in 2016 and his contract runs through to 2029.
According to Golf Digest, Spieth gets paid more than eight figures annually as part of the agreement.
Asked where Woods should go next, Spieth joked: "Under Armour, of course—finally go to the good side, if he wants zero distractions in any weather conditions.
"I'm on the phone with him a decent amount—I'll probably send him over a pair of the shoes I wear and see if we can start there."

When Tiger Woods bid an emotional farewell to Nike, he confirmed he will be at Los Angeles Country Club for the Genesis Invitational.
That tournament, of which he hosts annually on the PGA Tour, is being played over 15-18 February.
