TaylorMade have confirmed rising PGA Tour golfer Luke Clanton is now part of their team.

Clanton was unveiled as the latest golfer to sign with the leading equipment manufacturer ahead of the Travelers Championship

The 21-year-old has been making waves over the last 12 months as an amateur golfer but officially turned pro before last month's Canadian Open.

Clanton joins the likes of Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, Nelly Korda, Tommy Fleetwood, Charley Hull, Collin Morikawa and Brooke Henderson as part of the team.

Announcing the news, Clanton said he had been using TaylorMade clubs 'since the beginning'. "It's only fitting we make it official," he added. "Excited to join the squad."

We'll have to wait and see what his full bag looks.

Apart from a Titleist TSR2 driver and a Scotty Cameron T-9 Tour Prototype putter, Clanton has been using TaylorMade throughout the bag.

For his irons, Clanton has been gaming a combo set: TaylorMade P770 (3), TaylorMade P760 (4-6), TaylorMade P7MB (7-9).

He uses a set of TaylorMade MG4 wedges

Clanton also likes the TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver and uses a TaylorMade Stealth UDI 2-iron to help him find the fairways.

Luke Clanton's career so far

Clanton had an outstanding collegiate career.

He became the No.1 ranked amateur golfer in August 2024 and went on to win the Ben Hogan award.

Clanton became the first amateur since 1958 to record back-to-back finishes on the PGA Tour and even had a runner-up finish at the RSM Classic.

He secured his first card via the Tour's university accelerated program and made his first start as a professional in Toronto last month.

Clanton's first tee time saw him grouped alongside McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg.

He said he prepared for the moment by meditating in the shower

Clanton missed the cut, but drew praise for how he handled the week - especially because he delivered a heartfelt speech to his parents and coaches before his pro career began.

"I'm a proud son of David and Rhonda Clanton," he said. "I'm a grateful brother of Ray and Abby Clanton.

"I'm a product of their love, their belief, and their sacrifices.

"They laid the groundwork for this moment and hopefully many other big and major moments in my life and career.

"Family is everything. So Mom, Dad, Ray, and Abby, thank you for everything."

Clanton made his first major start last week at the US Open

He shared 41st place.
