After a dramatic final day at the Gary Player Country Club, Tommy Fleetwood beat Marcus Kinhult in a playoff to claim the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa.
Fleetwood started Sunday's final round six shots off the lead, but the Englishman shot a brilliant seven-under par score of 65, which included a sensational three eagles.
Kinhult was fantastic all day and ended his round with a challenging up-and-down par save to shoot 68, which was good enough to take Fleetwood to a playoff with both players tied at 12-under par.
Both players missed the green with their approach shots, but Fleetwood had the advantage after Kinhult was forced to chip out onto the fairway following his drive.
Fleetwood then hit a brilliant pitch shot, leaving a short putt to save par and win the tournament. As Fleetwood's ball dropped, he fist-pumped the air in celebration, after winning his first tournament since January 2018 when he won the Abu Dhabi Invitational.
"It's really, really cool when you win a tournament," he told Sky Sports as he held back the tears. "And it's great for the people who go on the journey with you."
Fleetwood's victory came with the winner's share of $2.5 million (£1.93m) and moved him into second place in the Race to Dubai behind Bernd Wiesberger, with just one event to go - the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
"It's an absolute privilege to have a chance of winning the Race to Dubai," added Fleetwood. "It's one of the things I'm most proud of in my career.
"I will start thinking about next week down the line. But I'm happy for the challenge. I may play terribly but I feel very ready."
Shot of the Day
GolfMagic's shot of the day for the final round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge has to go to Tommy Fleetwood. After shooting back-to-back eagles at 9 and 10, Fleetwood found the fairway at 14 - the final par-5 - and he was always going to try and make it three out of three. Fleetwood pulled out his 3-wood and hit a superb shot onto the green, managing to make the ball stop quickly, as if he'd hit a short iron into the green. Check out the shot for yourself below:
