Patrick Reed Net Worth: What is the LIV Golf Tour player worth?

Patrick Reed is certainly a divisive figure in the professional game. You either love him or hate him and this character is probably what made him such an attractive commodity for the LIV Golf Tour.

From his pulsating, chest-beating antics on behalf of Team USA at the Ryder Cup to his questionable behaviour involving rules disputes on the PGA Tour, you won't be bored watching Reed play golf, to say the least.

Nonetheless, before his move to the Saudi-backed series, he was a top player on the Tour and although he developed a pantomime villain role, he is recognisable because of his success.

He won for the first time on the Tour in 2013 at the Wyndham Championship. He went on to win nine times with his crowning moment coming in 2018 when he won his maiden major title at The Masters.

Unfortunately for Reed and many other players to have made the switch to LIV Golf, his future participation in major championships is now clouded with uncertainty.

In 268 starts on the Tour, he made 213 cuts which is an extremely impressive statistic. In this stretch, he won $37,065,581 in prize money which is more than Jon Rahm, Tony Finau and Patrick Cantlay, three of the top players on Tour as we speak.

Since joining LIV Golf, a series which dishes out $25 million in prize money at each event, the 32-year-old has earned $3,750,00. This is more than double the prize money he earned in 21 starts on the PGA Tour in 2022.

The LIV Golf Series is funded by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, the sovereign wealth fund of a government which has been accused of horrific human rights violations and sportswashing. This is why LIV are able to dip into an endless pot of money.

Throughout his career, Reed has picked up a number of lucrative sponsorship deals as a result of his success. He currently holds partnerships and associations with PXG, Grindworks, Hublot, Titleist, BMW, Equity Prime Mortgage and EasyPost.
