PGA Tour pro rips into WM Phoenix Open after shocking scenes

PGA Tour pro Ben An has played in the WM Phoenix Open multiple times down the years but never has the South Korean seen the famous TPC Scottsdale event so 'out of control' than this weekend.

An, 32, made his feelings be known about the state of the WM Phoenix Open following the suspension of the third round on Saturday night.

A series of videos went viral at TPC Scottsdale on Saturday of a number of fans hurling themselves down muddy slopes, while one fan launched himself into a greenside bunker.

One woman was injured on the famous stadium hole par-3 16th, too.

As a result of the scenes that were unfolding on Saturday afternoon, it is understood by the PGA Tour that alcohol sales were brought to an immediate close.

According to An, who is currently last on the leaderboard of those that made the cut (at the time of publication), a number of golf fans on site had overstepped the mark on Saturday.
