Ryder Cup 2025: Meet the caddies for Team Europe at Bethpage
We know all about the players at the Ryder Cup, but who will they have on their bags at Bethpage Black? Let's meet the caddies for Team Europe.

The European players at the Ryder Cup are well known to most, but who will they have as their caddies at Bethpage Black?
The importance of having a good caddie should never be underestimated, and never more so than in the cauldron of a Ryder Cup in New York.
Luke Donald's team will be leaning on their loopers heavily, looking for guidance, assurance and a calming influence during one of the most high-pressure weeks of their careers.
So who are the 12 bagmen for Team Europe this week? Let's take a look ....
Rory McIlroy and Harry Diamond
Best friends since they were very young, McIlroy has had Diamond on his bag since 2017 despite winning four majors with JP Fitzgerald.
The pair have been through many ups and downs over the last eight years, and McIlroy has been a loyal, staunch defender of his caddie as he resisted many calls for him to change to someone with more experience.
McIlroy and Diamond have teamed up for over 20 wins worldwide, and they finally enjoyed major success together at The Masters earlier this year as McIlroy completed his career Grand Slam.
Justin Rose and Mark Fulcher
"Fooch" first linked up with Rose back in 2008, and they had huge success together for over 10 years as Rose won his first major at the US Open in 2013, took Olympic gold in 2016 topped the world rankings two years later.
Fulcher, who had previously caddied for Dame Laura Davies and Alison Nicholas, then underwent heart surgery in 2019 and was forced to take time away from golf.
Rose employed Gareth Lord for a while, but he reunited with Fulcher in 2023 and the pair celebrated Rose's 26th professional victory last month as he pipped US Open champion JJ Spaun at the FedEx St Jude Championship.
Jon Rahm and Adam Hayes
Rahm and Hayes have been together since the Spaniard turned professional in 2016, and the pair have enjoyed 22 victories worldwide.
Hayes carried for major winners Jason Dufner and Webb Simpson before hooking up with Rahm, and their solid partnership has been one of the most successful in recent memory.
As well as major wins at the US Open and the Masters, Rahm also spent a year as world No 1 before signing for the LIV Golf Tour ahead of the 2024 season. This will be their fourth Ryder Cup together.

Tommy Fleetwood and Ian Finnis
Fleetwood first employed Finnis on a temporary agreement while in a slump in form in 2016, and the pair have stayed together ever since.
"Finno" is a familiar sight on the fairways, standing 6ft 7in tall and towering over the 5ft 8in Fleetwood! But it's a partnership that has yielded six DP World Tour victories as well as this year's FedExCup title.
Finnis, who is married to former England goalkeeper Rachel Finnis, has been on Fleetwood's bag for the last three Ryder Cups, the last one being the most memorable as it was the Evertonian pair who ensured the winning point for Europe in Rome.
Tyrrell Hatton and Hugo Dobson
Like McIlroy and Diamond, Hatton and Dobson have been close friends since childhood and have been a team on the golf course since 2024, when Hatton was forced into employing a new caddie after regular looper, Mick Donaghy, suffered a nasty fall.
Dobson, a former professional who played on the EuroPro Tour, stepped in to carry for Hatton at The Masters and the pair have remained a team ever since.
Known for his ability to cope with Hatton's infamous temper, Dobson has partnered his man to two DP World Tour titles and one on the LIV Golf series. This will be their first Ryder Cup together.
Viktor Hovland and Shay Knight
Similar to Rahm and Hayes, Hovland has had just the one caddie since he turned professional in 2019.
Knight had previously worked with a number of PGA Tour players, including the likes of Martin Laird, Chez Reavie and Jerry Kelly, before he and Hovland were introduced to each other by one of Rickie Fowler's former caddies.
The Australian was happy to jump on the Norwegian's bag, and it has proved a wise decision as the pair have won 11 times together worldwide.
Sepp Straka and Duane Bock
Bock is one of the most experienced caddies in the European squad, carrying for over 20 years after calling time on his playing career after a 12-year stint on various mini Tours.
The 55-year-old worked with Kevin Kisner for 14 years before landing Straka's bag in 2023, and they enjoyed success in their first tournament together as the Austrian won the John Deere Classic.
Injury forced Bock to miss out on Straka's fourth PGA Tour victory at the Truist Championship in May, but he is back on the bag for their second Ryder Cup together.
Matt Fitzpatrick and Dan Parrat
Fitzpatrick turned to Parrat earlier this year after ending his partnership with veteran Billy Foster, who tasted major success for the first time with his fellow Yorkshireman at the 2022 US Open.
A poor run of form prompted Fitzpatrick to change his set-up, and Parrat got the call. The Bristolian has been a caddie since 2009 and has carried for the likes of Alex Noren, Thorbjorn Olesen and Byeong Hun An.
Fitzpatrick has yet to win with Parrat on his bag, but his recent form has picked up significantly with seven top-10s in his last nine starts, earning him a captain's pick for Bethpage.
Ludvig Aberg and Joe Skovron
Despite having huge success with Jack Clarke shortly after turning professional, Aberg decided to switch to the experienced Skovron in the summer of 2023.
Skovron was already a well-known caddie on the PGA Tour having worked with Rickie Fowler for 13 years and winning five times with the popular American.
The former college golf coach was on Aberg's bag for his win at the Genesis Invitational in February, and the pair are now looking forward to their second Ryder Cup together.
Shane Lowry and Darren Reynolds
Lowry and Bo Martin were one of the most recognisable player-caddie teams in world golf, particularly when they won The Open together at Royal Portrush in 2019.
But they parted ways in early 2023 and Lowry turned to Reynolds, whose previous employers include Ryder Cup legend Paul McGinley and Frenchman Antoine Rozner.
Lowry and Reynolds have won just the one title together, last year's Zurich Classic of New Orleans with Rory McIlroy, and this will be their second ryder Cup as a team.
Bob MacIntyre and Mike Burrow
MacIntyre started working with Burrow in 2023, but he won his first PGA Tour in Canada with his dad on the bag in June, 2024 when Burrow returned to former Masters champion Danny Willett.
But the pair reconnected shortly afterwards and Burrow, whose previous bags include Haotong Li and Marcus Armitage, has caddied for MacIntyre during the most successful period of his career.
MacIntyre had Greg Milne on his bag at the last Ryder Cup in Rome, but he will benefit from Burrow's huge experience at Bethpage this year.
Rasmus Hojgaard and Tom Ayling
Europe's only Ryder Cup rookie this year has a caddie who does have previous experience of the contest, with Ayling having carried for Viktor Dubuisson at Gleneagles in 2014.
Hojgaard used to employ Jonathan Smart, who was Danny Willett's bagman for their Masters victory together in 2016, and the Dane has enjoyed much success since linking up with Ayling.
The pair won on Hojgaard's home soil at the Made in Himmerland in 2023, and they enjoyed a memorable victory over Rory McIlroy in the Irish Open at Royal County Down last year.
