Golf fans react to steamy Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson snaps ahead of U.S. Open

You might be thinking after recording five missed cuts in his last seven major starts that Dustin Johnson would be eager to set the record straight at this week's U.S Open.

But it certainly looks like he's taken the more relaxed approach to golf's third major of the season as the two-time major champion and former World No.1 has been caught snuggling up for some steamy photos with his wife Paulina Greztky, 36, on Instagram. 

Johnson, 40, returns to Oakmont this week where he won the U.S. Open the last time it was staged there in 2016. 

That week was not without controversy.

DJ is also looking to shake a lacklustre run of form that has seen him record just three top-10 finishes in eight LIV Golf starts so far in 2025.

You have to go all the way back to February 2024 for Johnson's last victory on the breakaway league, which was his third win. 

Unthinkable given Johnson accepted a fee in the region of $200m to leave the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf in the summer 2022. 

That happened just after he married Paulina. 

A number of critics believe Johnson is slowly winding down his professional career.

Not so long ago he admitted he was ready to soon become a "sports dad". 

Paulina and Dustin share two boys who both love their sports in Tatum and River. 

Our very own Ben Smith felt Johnson's game had "completely gone" back in March. 

Since that article, DJ has missed back to back cuts at The Masters and PGA Championship.

Johnson's rapid decline has seen him miss five of his last seven cuts in the majors.

His last top-10 finish in a major came back at the U.S. Open (T10) in June 2023. 

Once No.1 in the world, Johnson now looks on from the 884th rung of the ladder.

Even Data Golf has DJ at 173rd in the world. 

But back to the top of the story and those photos of Dustin and Paulina. 

Paulina posted three steamy snaps to her Insta page with the caption: "nobody else".  

DJ was in a white suit with his jacket undone, while Paulina was in lacy lingerie.

The trio of photos led to a flurry of comments from golf fans, as you might imagine. 

"DJ about to post a +15 and be home by Friday evening," commented one golf fan.

Another wrote: "What in the actual F happened to Dustin?"

One golf fan wrote tongue in cheek: "Clearly DJ is zoned in on the US Open this week. Grinding like never before..."
