Tiger? Phil? Here is everyone who has qualified for the 2022 U.S. Open

The third major of the season is fast approaching and the field for the 2022 U.S. Open is starting to fill up.

When the major heads to The Country Club in Brookline over June 16-19, it will be the 122nd edition of the championship.

Brookline is a familiar name for golf fans. The last time it hosted a U.S. Open was in 1988 when Curtis Strange prevailed over Nick Faldo.

There was also the memorable 1999 Ryder Cup when the United States made an historic comeback on the way to a one point victory.

Last year, the USGA announced that 48 golfers would be fully exempt into this year's championship, along with 12 past winners.

Over the weekend, 30 more players were added to the list of competitors thanks to their placing inside the OWGR top 60.

There are still other ways that players can earn a spot. Nine venues are hosting 36-hole qualifying events on 6 June.

Of course, there are some players listed who might withdraw. Tiger Woods might not play.

Woods, 46, withdrew for the first time ever in a major on Saturday evening after a particularly brutal few days at the US PGA.

Phil Mickelson, too, is also listed and could make his return to golf after his self-imposed exile from the game.
