3 golfers who would be lucky to last one tournament on the Korean Tour

Bio Kim was this week banned for THREE YEARS for losing the plot on the Korean Tour - but he's not the only Tour pro who loves an on-course strop.

Bio Kim was this week banned for THREE YEARS on the Korean Tour for raising his middle finger at the crowd.

We take a look at THREE other Tour professionals who have been fortunate not to receive similar marching orders down the years on the European and PGA Tour.

Sergio Garcia

Sergio Garcia has been DQ'd or fined several times in his illustrious career following a number of on-course outbursts on the European Tour.

Of course, Garcia remains one of the game's greatest ever players. He's a Masters champion, European Ryder Cup top points scorer, and has amassed 35 Tour wins since turning professional as a fresh-faced Spaniard in 1999.

But his actions on the golf course have more often than not been inexcusable through the years. He's been warned multiple times, but yet seems to keep getting away with throwing his toys out the pram on a regular basis.

One of his first strops in the public eye came in his first year as a Tour pro at the CISCO World Match Play at Wentworth in 1999. Garcia hit a wild drive and was so frustrated by his tee shot that he threw his golf shoe into the crowd behind him. He then asked for it back, before booting it back down the fairway.

From there, countless more strops have emerged, seemingly once every season. None more disgraceful than earlier this January when Garcia lost the plot as he "intentionally damaged at least five greens" during the Saudi International. He also tore up another bunker. Shock. Horror.

At the time, Brooks Koepka claimed Garcia "acted like a child". Garcia apologised for his actions, but then responded to his critics by claiming he reacted like he did because of some personal news he had received prior to the start of the tournament.

Garcia has also launched golf clubs into the lake on several occasions and snapped clubs over his knee in anger after failing to hole a putt.

You would like to think Garcia has now learned his lesson, but given it keeps happening, probably not.

Who knows, the decision to ban Bio Kim from one particular Tour will possibly make him think twice before hurling a shoe, snapping a club or tearing up a putting surface or bunker.

One of the true European greats, no question about it, but his on-course rage will sadly be what most people remember him by when all is said and done.

Matt Wallace

Matt Wallace is one of the game's brighest young prospects at the age of 29, but his on-course anger, especially when blasting his former caddie, has somewhat tarnished his reputation with golf fans.

Wallace is a future European Ryder Cup star in waiting and will be a match made in heaven for the fiery atmosphere that awaits at Whistling Straits in the United States next year.

However, Wallace's attitude on the course has got to change fast, especially where slamming clubs into the turf and aggressively ranting with his caddie over an errant shot are concerned.

Wallace reached boiling point when throwing away the BMW International Open a couple of months back, clearly seen on camera laying into his former caddie Dave McNeilly after sending his drive into the ripples on the 18th.

It wasn't the first time Wallace had infuriated golf fans, though.

Wallace was labelled a "very sore loser" by a fellow European Tour professional after that tournament, especially given several weeks before that the Englishman was caught thumping his putter into the 18th green at the British Masters when Marcus Kinhult still had a 10-foot putt on the same line to win the championship - which the Swede duly made.

He was also spotted swearing and whacking his putter against his bag during the US Open, which led Sky Sports commentator and former US PGA champion Rich Beem to say live on air: "Oh come on, get over yourself."

Wallace has now split up with his caddie Dave McNeilly in a bid to get his game back on track following a minor dip in form.

"I don't think I want to change too much of me, I want to keep the fire," said Wallace, after sacking McNeilly.

"Around the Open I was changing my emotions inside and that was affecting the way I played.

"I hope I don't have to make any decisions ever like that again, but it's a business and it's what everyone keeps telling me. There are plenty of guys out here who sacked many a caddie and this is my first one."

Patrick Reed

Whether you hate him or just generally don't like him, there is no denying Patrick Reed has caused plenty of controversial moments throughout his golf career.

He might not have made as many outbursts on the course as someone like Garcia, for example, but he did make an incredibly bad mistake in 2014 with his homophobic slur at the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament.

Reed three-jabbed on the green and then chastised himself saying: "Nice f**kin’ three-putt you f**kin’ fa**ot."

In the aftermath of the incident, Reed tweeted: "I’m sorry for using offensive language today in China. My passion to play well got the best of me and my word choice was unacceptable."

Then there was the fallout from the Ryder Cup, with the majority of players seeming to fall out with Reed for one reason or another.

Earlier this year during the second round of the US Open, Reed was seen losing the plot when snapping his wedge over his knee on the final hole.
